Finished GTA IV

I finished GTA IV last night, and it was a little shorter than I thought it would be at that point, but I was satisfied that after the single player campaign was over I was still able to enjoy some multiplayer action.

I'm working on a new language training website, which is progressing slowly: idontlikepocky.com

And I am neglecting my dishes and laundry.

Work has been very busy recently, end of quarter is nearing and there is a lot of pressure to get accomplish all of our goals within the next 2 weeks.

So, final thoughts on it? Some reviewers are praising the environment, but trashing the actual gameplay. Apparently the missions are all a bunch of escorts and from A to B-style missions.

and having friends is a lot of work?

Yeah the friends can be annoying, phoning you to go out when you really have other things to do. However you can turn your phone on silent mode and do whatever you want.

The gameplay is awesome. They fixed everything that was wrong in the previous games.

Personally I think people are trashing it because they want to show how sophisticated they are.

I've heard it's good ... I'd heard it was supposed to be modeled on actual New York locations, though I'm not sure if they actually implemented it.

Yeah there is actually a really sweet side by side comparison of actual locations in NY and game locations in "Liberty City". It is almost scary how accurate they were in places.
