Mario Hoops 3-on-3
As one of the perks of working as a reviewer and game journalist for The Game Chair, I received a free preview copy of Mario Hoops 3-on-3 for Nintendo DS.I played through and posted my first "Progressive Review" on The Game Chair's website, you can read it here.
It is a very cool game, and the method of input is so intuitive and cool. You don't use any of the buttons on the face of the DS, you just tap and scratch around on the touchpad to perform a variety of moves. I'll see if I can convince Beav to pick it up so we can face off this weekend in Cambridge.

that's wicked... good for you, getting free stuff is one of the only rewards.
And you're probably better at reviewing video games than I... I don't have time to play them. I just covet them.

That's true... I'm trying to take the reader through a first hand account of playing the game. A vicarious experience of sorts.
Yes, I like the first-person account. It's more personal...
But for example, I'd write the first paragraph like this:
"I enjoy serious simulation sports games from time to time, but the fun and wacky nature of the Mario sports series is quite appealing to me. My expectations are high, and I don't think that Mario Hoops will disappoint."
Just to avoid sounding like 'I... I... I... I.. I I...'
