Ninjas of the Night

Everyone loves ninjas. AttackBeaver's "
white ninja" is proof positive of that fact. Well, get a load of this,
a machinimation farce of a ninja movie (hint: click "download movie"). It's pretty clever, and the game that is used to make it, "
The Movies", reminds me of this old school program AttackBeaver and Derelict used to use to make hilarious electronic plays at school. I can't remember the name of it but you could have virtual actors enter stage left, stage right etc, and speak lines. Well Beav went a million levels past that with the movies he made with some other weird program on his Mac.
A memorable scene from Beav's play: After violating a cat, the two actors groan about being bored and not knowing what to do. Off stage, the moo of a cow is heard. The two actors look at each other knowingly, smile, and exeunt stage right.
It's hard to remember if it was funnier watching his play, or watching his other two house guests become intensely offended.
Canadian Attack Beaver - you got skills, but where did all your creations go??? Shame on you man... losing comedy gold like that.

You really love CdnAttackBeaver, don't you?
No, it's okay, just no hand-holding.
Oh man, those cartoons were hilarious. Watching the reactions was funny as well, though thinking back to it, kind of immature.
This is also a little bit of comedy gold, and for some reason reminds me of Matt's dry wit:

About "Intelligent Design".
oh yeah the clincher in the last link.. "If evolution was true, I'd have a self-lubricating hand".
Thinking about it, I Fear Beaver was way ahead of his time, doing the crappy animations with the pictures that barely moved. I Fear Beaver, the next crazy / funny idea that you have, you need to get it on the web before it becomes common place.
*sigh* now you guys are just trying to butcher my handle.
I think the program was called Theatrix. Fuck was it great. It was, of course, not meant to be used in the way that I used it, but that was part of the humour I think.
I rememeber showing it to Scott and Carolin (sp?) who "weren't easily offended".
Me: So, were you offended, Scott?
Scott (obviously offended): No.
Bwa ha! I remember vividly the look on their faces when you showed that to them.
I think later in the car, they asked me if I thought it was funny. I said, Of course!, then they looked at each other and did that look.
You know the look.
It's the 'can we save him/her/them from eternal damnation?'
Actually I looked into it and the program was called "Hollywood High" by the company "Theatrix". Now if only I could get a hold of a working copy, unfortunately Theatrix is out of business now.
Hmm... I wonder if you can find it at the ol' abandonware sites...
I remember Rumple and Bobby; there were awesome.
On another note, Scott can now be found saving souls from eternal damnation working in the nether regions of SUB. I try to avoid that holey light of salvation.
Man, Sunny has a pretty damn good memory...
He should be Jeopardy.
